Registration for cheerleading and football is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for cheerleading is open. Registration for football opens March 31, 2008 at 8:00am. At that time, WVPW will activate this registration form. Your registration will be time-stamped as of the day/time your registration form is received by WVPW following activation.

NOTE: Any football registrations received before March 31, 2008 at 8:00am will not be received.

Payment will be due June 2, 2008. WVPW will offer on-line payment of registration fees. If you do not want to pay fees on-line, you may instead mail your completed web registration form and a check payable to "West Valley Pop Warner" to:

Registrants not paid by the June 2, 2008 payment deadline will risk the loss of their spot on the team. Participants on the waiting list, whose registration fees have been paid by June payment deadline, will bump non-paid registrants off team rosters.

All Football and Cheer registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after August 1st.

Remember: register via the web -- pay via the web or via mail. (But do not register via mail).

Note: Any participants from last year's Pop Warner Football or Cheer programs who still have league equipment may not secure a spot on any team until the equipment is returned or payment is made to West Valley Pop Warner for its loss. Arrangements for the return of outstanding equipment should be made to the 2008 Athletic Directors:

Welcome to the 2008 year!

2007 was a great year for WVPW football.

Registration Instructions

On March 31st, you can sign on to our web site (www.WVPW.com) and register. Click the "Register for Football" button below. It's that simple. You will be contacted by June 1st then on your child's status, if there is a wait list, and further information on what you may need to do. Yes, it does take us this long to sort things out, so June 1st is the earliest you will hear anything back.

We will have online payment via credit Card. THERE WILL BE A MEETING (time and location TBA) WHERE FURTHER INFORMATION AND PAYMENT WILL BE REQUIRED.


90%+ of the kids who registered last year on the first day got in, so just get on the web on March 31, 2008 and register. This is a very popular program, and with our move to Saratoga High School two years ago and the success we have had, register early.


There first day of practice will be August 1, 2008. In August, we practice 5 days per week for 2 hours per day, and the after Labor Day, we practice 3 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00pm plus Saturday morning for 2 hours.


Games are on Sunday, and we have 8 games per year plus playoffs if the team qualifies based on their season's record.


This is a big commitment from the kids and parents point of view. All I can tell you is most players return every year, and the parent support has been fantastic. It is worth it.

Registration Is Open.

The 2007 season continued West Valley Pop Warner's tradition of excellence in the cheer program.

Registration Instructions:

Cheer registrationis open. You must register your cheerleader on the WVPW website (www.WVPW.com). Click the "Register for Cheer" button below to be taken to the cheer registration page. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be contacted no later than June 1st with your cheerleader's status and further information on the upcoming season and important dates.

Below are our cheer teams' accomplishments during the 2007 season:

All cheer teams advanced to compete in the Pop Warner National Cheer Championships at DisneyWorld.


Our cheer program typically sends 3 out of 4 competitive teams to Regionals and Nationals every season.

We continue to strive to improve our cheer program and teach our cheerleaders the value of good sportsmanship while setting the bar high for team-oriented goals. We have cheerleaders return year after year to the program, including a surprising number of high school freshmen and sophomores who opt to return to Pop Warner for their final eligible season before they move on to high school or all-star squads.
